Updated: 7/29/2014 16:23

Join us at Knott's Berry Farm on August 23rd at 7:00pm at The Wagon Camp for the 33rd Annual Country Showdown. Hosted by our own Larry Morgan, these artists will compete for a chance to move on to the Country Showdown State Finals and maybe a chance at $100,000 in the National Finals.

Erin Cosgrove

Erin Cosgrove is a born and raised Floridian, from the small town of Tarpon Springs. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Music from the University of South Florida and has been singing since the age of two. After graduation Erin sot out music and acting as a career and worked at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as a full time singer/actor/dancer. Erin then began writing music and teaching herself how to play the guitar and within two years she was performing her original music at local venues. Cosgrove then wanted to further her career and came to Los Angeles a little over a year and a half ago. Since in LA she has worked in commercials, films, TV and was cast on a Major reality show as "the country girl" on USA network called "Summer Camp", which aired last summer.

Cosgrove has recorded two music videos, performs regularly at House of Blues, in music festivals and showcases and has a stable following and fan base on her Youtube channel. Some of Erin's greater accomplishments include Performances at the Daytona 500, Monster Jam truck Races, Ironman World championship Triathlon, The Florida State Fair, Mammoth motocross championships and many more!

J'Rose' song "Heart Song" is currently bieng placed as a theme song for a foster care and adoption agency that has been around fir over 125 years. J'Rose is thrilled to be a contestant in the Country Showdown, and to be singing at Knott's for Go Country 105.

David Elliott

There is much to be said for hereditary, especially in the case of multi-talented singer/songwriter, musician and producer David Elliott, his pre-disposition towards making great music is hardly surprising. As the son of international legend Dionne Warwick and drummer and actor, the late Bill Elliott, David has been exposed to the world of entertainment from day one.

Indeed, with a heritage that includes his mother along with her sister Dee Dee, her aunt Cissy, his cousin Whitney Houston and grandmother Lee (of the pioneering gospel group, The Drinkard Singers), music has been a family affair from the start. Born into such a powerful lineage, David Elliott has distinguished himself as a formidable music man in his own right. Some of David's career accomplishments include co-writing the Grammy Award-winning classic "Here And Now" for Luther Vandross, co-starring as Sam Cooke in the movie "Ali", starring Will Smith and touring the globe as a special guest performer with his mother. David also had the unique experience of working with Brazilian super group, Revelacao on their 20th anniversary live DVD. The collaboration resulted in a platinum selling DVD. David recently recorded a brilliant new version of the classic "I say a little prayer for you", as a duet with his legendary mother on her latest CD entitled "Now", which has been nominated for a Grammy Award. David also recently recorded a new version of the classic "The windows of the world", as a duet with his mother on her latest CD.

Traveling the world with Dionne has given David a global perspective on music; David says, "I've seen how music can touch people so deeply. My goal and mission is to bring feel good music to the world." David Elliott is here and is ready!

Kailey Swanson

Kailey Swanson is a 16 year-old singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles. Since she first stepped out on a stage at 6 years old, she knew that was where she belonged. Kailey is an eclectic song writer whose inspirations come from the deep southern roots of her Grandmother. From Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn to Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves, Kaileyʼs style blends traditional country with a modern rock edge. In her spare time, Kailey enjoys training in Muay Thai and other martial arts. She aspires to change the image of "hitting like a girl" and hopes to one day find herself in the ring when sheʼs not on the stage!

Sheyna Gee

Sheyna Gee is known for her unapologetic California Country anthems. Starting out playing guitar at just 5 years old, writing and performing her first song at 6, Sheyna found her own voice by immersing herself in a wide variety of music. Her lyrics, stemming from epic adventures and nights out painting the town, have won her numerous awards including the titles of "Best Singer/Songwriter" and "Best Country Single" at the LA Music Awards. The past three years have been a whirlwind of awards, festivals, viral YouTube videos, writing sessions and high energy performances for Sheyna and her band. Already having played The NAMM Show, SxSW, and CMA Fest and almost 100 other shows this year, she is ending 2014 strong by showcasing at Party in the Pasture Music Festival, Big Horn Music Festival and the LA County Fair in September, releasing a new video for her last single "Alright" and finishing her second country album, keeping her fans swaying, singing & drinking along with her at shows big and small across the West Coast.

D.L. Marble

The songs and music of D.L. Marble are a favorite watering hole where Country, Americana, and Green Eyed Soul can all meet, knock back a few and join in a communal chorus. D.L.'s Music drives along the many angles and curves of love, with those participating in relationships hanging on and hanging in. D.L. Marble spends a good deal of time as a traveling musician and the stories reflect the fine line balance and sacrifices of road life. There is a lot of room for the characters to play in his songs but with a slight bend D.L. Marble's voice brings hints of a darker plot giving you the feeling that the real tale is in the back story. D.L. is Country music, where the song still matters...

Stevi Madison

Performing all over the Southern California country music scene, you'll find Stevi Madison has made her mark. A finalist in Cosmopolitan Magazine's Star Launch contest and selected earlier this year to perform on Extra for Mario Lopez and Maria Menounous in The Voice Bootcamp Experience, Stevi takes on any challenge with unbelievable vocal precision and an unforgettable high energy performance.

Moving back from Nashville this past year, she continues to fly back and forth to co-write and is currently recording an EP due in the fall. She's a potent mix of Carrie Underwood's power, Hillary Scott's softness and Miranda Lambert's fun attitude. This will be a showdown to remember!
