Shawn Parr has been beloved in country music circles for many years and has also been the voice of Dick Clark Productions for the past 15 years. His voiceover for television and radio includes announcing for The American Music Awards, Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards to name a few. Shawn was a former KZLA announcer for Morning Drive/Afternoon Drive and it's great to have him here at Go Country 105. Ashley was born in Connecticut but was raised in the Midwest. Her first “radio job” was as the Promotions Manager for KOMA in Oklahoma City. Ashley became afternoon drive sidekick for several years but her desire to live near family prompted her to try her luck in Los Angeles. She moved to Los Angeles and landed a gig at Metro Traffic. She did traffic at Metro from June of 1996 until April of 1998. Then after a successful 2 year run at Lite FM, she moved on to 93.9 KZLA as co-host of “The Peter Tilden Morning Show with Ashley”. Ashley is currently the DJ of the country channel on Delta Airlines and continues to do various voiceovers on TV shows and feature films. Ashley lives in Southern California with her film-editor husband and two fantastic daughters.

Tonya started her radio career at the age of 14 at a small AM station in Visalia, California. Within five years she was the evening host at KFYE-FM (Y-94) in Fresno. She followed that with jobs at KBOS/Fresno, KSDO-FM (KS103) / San Diego. She came to Los Angeles in 1987 and worked for the Transtar Radio Network. After four years with CBS and a couple at Unistar Radio Network, she landed the mid-day shift at KZLA in 1994. In 2000, she was promoted to music director and in 2002 added the title of assistant program director. After KZLA changed their format in 2006, Tonya worked for Lofton Creek Records before coming to Go Country 105 where she is now the Program Director.

Paul Freeman began his illustrious career in broadcasting as a teenager in the basement of his parent's Spokane, Washington home in his state of the art studio/radio station that he built. Was his destiny radio? You better believe it! Paul landed his first on the air job while still a junior in high school and the rest is history. Paul continued to work on the air while finishing high school and starting college. His journey via the airways landed him on some of the top radio stations in Los Angeles including 13 years at KIIS FM which was number one with the highest ratings in it’s history. Paul has also spent time at KHJ, KODJ-FM, KCBS-FM, KYSR- FM, KBIG-FM, and most recently COUNTRY 93.9 KZLA FM.

Zack got his start in radio as a high school reporter for WNUE in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, then made the big jump to the nearby mega-metropolis of Niceville as the night jock at WFSH. He worked his way though college at Ole Miss with stints at WSUH and WMS, then moved to California with stops at KAVS in Lancaster, KKXX in Bakersfield, KIBB in L.A. and the nationally-syndicated Westwood One and Dial-Global radio networks. Zack is also a part-time actor, model, voiceover artist and commercial spokesman, and when not working can usually be found on a racquetball court or at home dissecting "Lost". Zack loves to travel and speaks six languages...although none very well, including English. You can find Zack on Facebook!

Gary grew up in Southern California, and got his start at the UCLA radio station. From there it was on to stations in the High Desert, Inland Empire and Los Angeles, where he spent eighteen years at Country 93.9 KZLA. After that he spent several years at KSON in San Diego. He also hosts country shows on the Dial-Global network. Gary enjoys hanging out with his dogs, and people too.

Longtime country radio personality Ginny Harman will join Go Country 105 as our afternoon drive traffic reporter weekdays from 2pm to 7pm. For decades Ginny has honed her skills at stations across America – from Milwaukee to Nashville and Ft. Myers to Phoenix. Most recently Ginny spent several years on the Inland Empire’s “K-FROG,” where she was known to listeners as Toady Foster. With nearly 25 years of voiceover, acting and broadcasting experience, Ginny describes herself as “A fast-drivin’, Harley-ridin’, cat-lovin’ gal.” And having been associated with over a dozen charities, Ginny is also passionate about being directly involved with the local community.

Laurie fell in love with radio when she toured her local radio station in her hometown in Morris, Minnesota. She started in radio there, and worked “up and down the dial” at stations in Des Moines, Omaha, and San Francisco. Laurie came to Los Angeles where she landed a gig at KIIS-FM where she worked with current Go Country afternooner, Paul Freeman. Laurie has become a familiar radio voice, spending time at KNX-FM, KLSX-FM, and 10 years at Power106, while holding down the highest rated show on Armed Forces Radio. She joined Go Country in December of 2008 from the nationally syndicated Dial Global Radio Network. Off hours, Laurie pursues her hobby of collecting coffee stains in the shapes of celebrities.

Buzz is thrilled to bring Altville back to SoCal and be a part of the Go Country 105 family. Buzz Brainard hails from “The Great Lakes State” spent some time on the east coast in NYC and then ventured west to California where he co-hosted the morning show on KZLA Los Angeles. Eventually he settled in Music City with his wife Sandy, son Hank, two dogs and a guinea pig. Buzz is also the voice of “Disney Channel” the host of “This Week In Baseball”, “Maximum Exposure” and a show called “Bucked” about bull riders of the PBR. Buzz got his love of country music from his dad’s pile of classic vinyl. “As a kid I would lay my head against the speakers of the old Zenith slide-top cabinet and listen to Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Roger Miller for hours at a time. Hey, maybe that accounts for the slight hearing loss on my right side”.
